What is treibball? Treibball, or driving ball, is a new competitive dog sport for dogs of all ages, and sizes, who love to play chase games or who love to herd. Invented in Germany a few years ago by Dutchman Jan Nijboer, the first competitive match was held in 2007. It’s great fun for any energetic dog who needs a job, or a herding dog that doesn’t have the opportunity to work sheep. This group is for Colorado dogs and their well-behaved owners who want to hike together in the mountains and foothills. Day hike adventures for our small groups will generally range from 5-10 miles round trip and will primarily be within a 2 hour drive (or less) from the Denver metro area.
